I finally finished this one :) i tried to add in some more cast shadows and really bring to life the forms in the foreground and in the hands... sorry this took so long ms. kane!
FINALLY REPHOTOGRAPHED! :) I think it would be really neat to try to incorporate this piece into my concentration (global issues)... maybe something with abortion? still not sure...
This piece came out so good so far. The shading really makes it pop and look realistic; great observation of every detail (especially the vines) Love the idea behind it!
This is clearly the art center after some sort of disaster. But it is a interesting idea, something unique is going on with it. My advice is define your colors more, and some detail. ie: the roundness of earth is off, and the broken pieces of the stool kind of fade into the ground in the further areas.
I think the piece sums up the idea of your concentration perfectly, which is a good thing! I like the contrast of all the colors, and the way that the stool looks quite realistic. Great form on the hands!

ReplyDeleteDon't forget to deal with the cast shadow of the stool and vines to create a more believable space. I'm excited to see the end result.
